Joachim 是一个生(shēng )活在巴(bā )黎、事(shì )(🌰)业成(chéng )功的电视编剧。四(sì )十岁生日的临(lín )晨(chén )，他决(🌰)定放弃一切——孩子、(📿)友人(👋)、(⏬)敌人、爱(🌗)情与遗憾——去(⚫)美国从零开始。之后，他带领“新(✳)滑稽(jī )艳舞团”（New Burlesque ）回到故乡进(😱)行巡演(🔊)。艳舞团团(📎)员(🧚)因(🚣)Joachim 而对法国巴黎充满向往。幽(💻)默的(de )表演(🔝)和脱衣舞娘(🤠)丰满(mǎn )的身(㊙)材令男女老少沉迷(🈴)不已(⛏)。尽管(guǎn )下榻(tà )的旅(lǚ )馆平庸不堪，使用的电(🥕)梯音(yīn )乐(🧟)（musique d’ascenseur ）乏(🦇)善可陈，又缺乏资金(jīn )，女(nǚ )演员依然营(yíng )造出(📟)了新奇、(🔈)热(rè )情而(💿)欢(huān )乐的(de )气(qì )氛。但是(🤥)，他(📛)们决定(💏)在巴黎(🔷)演出压轴(🥅)戏，将(jiāng )巡演推向高潮(cháo )的(de )(🔙)梦想破(pò )(🐖)裂了：Joachim 的老“朋(péng )友”背叛了他，取消了其预(⏺)定(👩)的(de )演(yǎn )戏场(❓)所。巴黎之行似乎(🚩)注(zhù )定来去匆(cōng )匆，过(🧥)去种种伤感的回忆突然被揭开…… Joachim, a former Parisian television producer had left everything behind - his children, friends, enemies, lovers and regrets to start a new life in America. But he returns with a team of New Burlesque strip-tease performers whom he has filled with romantic dreams of a tour of France, of Paris! Traveling from town to town, despite the cheap hotel rooms and lack of money, the curvaceous showgirls invent an extravagant fantasy world of warmth and hedonism that wins an enthusiastic response from men and women alike. (🏾)But their dream of a tour culminating in a last grand show in Paris goes up in smoke when Joachim is betrayed by an old friend and loses the theatre where they were due to perform. An obligatory return journey to the capital violently reopens the old wounds of his past...
